This series of embroideries on vintage handkerchiefs represents, pays tribute and memorialises women for whom justice has been denied in some way or significantly delayed.  The handkerchief speaks of the grief of victims’ loved ones.

Justice is delayed or denied if the perpetrator remains unknown for a long period of time, or where they have died before being brought to justice. In some cases justice has been too slow to save the lives of women, who have not been adequately protected by law enforcement or the courts.
